In winter there is a cozy, manageable area Family ski area with connection to Network of trails for beginners as well as advanced skiers – the family can spend the day skiing together. The perfectly groomed network of trails leads enthusiastic cross-country skiers up to the Maria Elend pilgrimage chapel. Did you know that this is one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in the Pinzgau? A drag lift and a beginner lift await you in the Embach ski area – ideal for making their first turns in the snow with the children.
Well-known ski regions such as the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen, the Gasteiner Bergbahnen, Ski Amadé around the Hochkönig, the glacier ski area Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun or the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See as well as the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn are only about 40 km away. But even off-piste it remains exciting in Embach – a leisurely winter walk, a snowshoe hike or a guided ski tour in the high alpine area – there is something for every winter sports enthusiast!
